Dr. Megan DeVore

Adjunct Lecturer

Dr. Megan DeVore serves as Professor of Church History and Early Christian Studies at Colorado Christian University, where she has where she has taught for nearly twenty years. She holds a Ph.D. in Theology specializing in Early Christianity from the University of Wales, earned an M.A. in Classics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. DeVore’s academic work particularly centers on the late 2nd through 4th centuries. Her current research examines the intersection of Patristic-era hermeneutics, art, and martyr accounts. In addition to teaching at CCU, she serves as a mentor at Denver Seminary, guest lectures at evangelical seminaries, is actively involved in international academic symposia, holds committee positions in the Kirby Laing Centre for Public Theology in Cambridge and the Society of Biblical Literature, is an editor for the Patristic Theology Journal, and is a fellow at Credo. She has contributed to various publications in her field and has received awards for teaching and scholarship.
