Outcomes: Institutional Effectiveness
As an accredited institution, Heritage College & Seminary is committed to the faithful and effective fulfillment of its institutional mission, as well as the distinct mission statements of the College and the Seminary. In support of this commitment, faculty, staff, administration, and the Board regularly review and assess all aspects of the institution to ensure educational effectiveness and ongoing alignment with Heritage’s mission.
Heritage engages in a full institutional review annually, typically in May or August. Individual departments conduct additional assessments as needed throughout the year. A range of qualitative and quantitative assessment strategies is used – including grade reports, student course surveys, graduating student questionnaires, Board member surveys, financial reports, and other measures – to evaluate the quality of the overall educational experience at Heritage College & Seminary. Findings from these assessments are used to strengthen programs and services and to support continuous improvement.
Heritage College & Seminary is supported by a growing community of more than 2,800 alumni serving across Canada, North America, and around the world.
