Off-Campus Students
Off‑campus students are an important part of the Heritage community. Whether you are nearby or commuting from farther away, there are meaningful ways to stay connected, grow spiritually, and participate in campus life throughout your time at Heritage. Students are encouraged to engage where they are able, recognizing the varied rhythms of work, family, and ministry commitments.
Get Involved
Heritage offers a wide range of opportunities for off‑campus students to participate in community life. From spiritual formation and student leadership to athletics and special events, students are invited to engage in ways that best fit their season of life.
Join an Impact Group
Off‑campus students are welcome and encouraged to join an Impact Group during their studies. These small groups meet regularly throughout the academic year and are designed to foster spiritual growth, mutual encouragement, and meaningful connection with others in the Heritage community.
To learn more or to join an Impact Group, please contact Matt and Erin Stanton, Residence Directors, at mstanton@heritagecs.edu or estanton@heritagecs.edu.
Get Active
Off‑campus students have access to Heritage’s fully equipped fitness room and are welcome to participate in athletics and recreational activities on campus. Whether joining a team, taking part in intramurals, or using the fitness facilities, students are encouraged to stay active and connected.
For more information about Athletics at Heritage, contact DJ Mudde, Dean of Students, at dmudde@heritagecs.edu.
Student Council
Off‑campus students are encouraged to have a voice in campus life through Student Council. Opportunities include participating in special events, emphasis weeks, committees, or serving as a member of the Council itself. Student leadership offers a meaningful way to contribute to the life and direction of the Heritage community.
To learn more, contact Hannah Popma, Administrative Assistant of Student Services, at hpopma@heritagecs.edu.
Campus Events & Learning Opportunities
Off‑campus students are also invited to engage through on‑campus events and learning opportunities held throughout the year. These may include events such as Ministry Leadership Day, Heritage Preaching Lectures, special lectures, and other community gatherings. Students who live farther away are encouraged to attend when possible, making use of these opportunities for learning, encouragement, and connection.
Student Access to Campus
All off‑campus students are encouraged to visit the Reception Office in the Seminary Building to receive a swipe card. This card provides access to the Student Centre and Fitness Room during off‑hours.

Students seeking to rent a room or apartment off campus are welcome to consult Heritage’s Off‑Campus Housing Directory. To review available options and discuss housing in the Cambridge area, please contact Hannah Popma, Administrative Assistant of Student Services, at hpopma@heritagecs.edu.
