Dr. Marianne Vanderboom

Academic Dean of the College, Director of BRE Professional

Dr. Marianne Vanderboom serves as Academic Dean of the College and Professor of Religious Education at Heritage College & Seminary. Her teaching focuses on equipping students to understand and apply Christian education within a biblical framework, integrating faith, learning, and discipleship across all areas of life.

Through her teaching and ministry, Dr. Vanderboom seeks to help students apply God’s Word practically and faithfully, fostering a vision of Christian education that shapes both personal formation and ministry practice.

    Ministry Experience

    Dr. Vanderboom has served in a variety of educational and ministry contexts, including:

    • Christian elementary school teacher
    • Teaching women’s Bible studies in the local church
    • One year of teaching with Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) in Papua, Indonesia

    Her work reflects a deep commitment to Christian education, discipleship, and the application of Scripture in everyday life and ministry.
