Dr. Matthew Stanton

Professor of Church History and New Testament Studies

Dr. Matthew Stanton serves as Adjunct Professor of Church History and New Testament Studies at Heritage College & Seminary. His teaching focuses on helping students engage deeply with the history of the Church and the New Testament, integrating historical insight with theological reflection.

Through his teaching and scholarship, Dr. Stanton seeks to expose students to primary sources, foster thoughtful classroom discussion, and develop strong academic writing, equipping them to engage faithfully with Scripture and the Church’s historical witness.
