Professor of Theological Studies, Biblical Studies, and Apologetics Studies

Dr. Steven D. West serves as Professor of Theological Studies at Heritage College & Seminary. His teaching focuses on apologetics, theology, and the integration of a Christian worldview, equipping students to think critically and engage faithfully with Scripture and culture.

Through his teaching, writing, and pastoral ministry, Dr. West seeks to connect theological depth with practical ministry, helping students serve Christ’s Church with conviction, clarity, and a deep appreciation for the truth and beauty of the gospel.

    Dr. West has served in pastoral ministry and theological education in a variety of contexts, including:

    • Lead Pastor, Madoc Baptist Church
    • Taught church leaders and pastors in 15 countries across 5 continents
    • Frequent speaker at Bible conferences, retreats, and camps in Canada and the United States

    His work reflects a deep commitment to the connection between the classroom and the local church, the integration of a Christian worldview for all of life, and the authority of God’s revelation in the gospel of Jesus Christ.
