Dr. Wayne Baxter

Professor of New Testament and Greek

Dr. Wayne Baxter serves as Professor of New Testament and Greek at Heritage College & Seminary. His teaching focuses on helping students understand the New Testament in its historical and theological context while developing the skills needed for careful biblical interpretation and faithful ministry.

His research explores the Gospel of Matthew, early Christian theology, and the relationship between early Christianity and Second Temple Judaism. Through his teaching and scholarship, Dr. Baxter seeks to equip students to engage deeply with Scripture and to serve Christ’s Church with clarity and conviction.

He is ordained with the Christian & Missionary Alliance.
