Academics/Graduate Programs/Heritage Ministry Certificate

Heritage Ministry Certificate

Program Overview

The Heritage Ministry Certificate I is designed for those who are actively serving in the Church in paid, volunteer, or bi‑vocational leadership roles and desire theological and practical equipping for faithful ministry. Rooted in Scripture and shaped by the life of the Church, this certificate supports those who may feel that formal seminary education is out of reach but still desire deeper biblical understanding and ministry formation.

This program provides accessible theological training that can be completed fully online, allowing students to remain rooted in their local church and ministry context. Through biblically grounded instruction and ministry‑focused assignments, students are equipped to serve with greater confidence, clarity, and faithfulness in the roles God has entrusted to them.

Heritage Ministry Certificate I is the first of two planned ministry certificates, created to encourage and equip those serving the Church who are seeking theological formation without pursuing graduate‑level degree programs.

Please note:
Courses completed as part of the Heritage Ministry Certificate I do not qualify for academic credit toward the Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies, or Graduate Certificates at Heritage Theological Seminary.
